I don't even know much about the Frullo/Goetina side.  In fact, my Grandfather Frullo was an ophan that was raised by a lady that was sent a goodly sized check each month to take care of my Grandfather.  I've often wondered where he got the name of Frullo or was it a name just given to him.137

Mass Held For John Frullo

From St. Michael’s Catholic church, where he had worshipped for many years, requiem high mass was held Saturday morning for John Frullo, victim of an automobile collision on Lincoln Park last week.

The Rev. Raymond Layton, OSB, officiated at the mass.

Hundreds of friends from all sections of Fremont county packed the church for the final rites, also jammed the Canon mortuary service room Friday evening for the rosary. The flowers at the rosary were magnificent. They were in care of Lucille Silva, Mrs. Dora Falco, Jessie Falco and Mrs. John Scavarda.

Those who formed the casket escort were Tony Oberto, Martin Oberto, James Silva, Victor Scavarda, James Curto and Paul Durand.

The Body of Mr. Frullo was interred at Union-Highland cemetery in Florence. Members of two lodges to which the deceased belonged Umberto Primo and Foresters of America, both of Rockvale, were present in a body and conducted ritual services at the graveside.138

Aunt Kay wasn't even sure where the name of Frullo came from as Grandpa Frullo was an orphan taken in by a lady who got a healthy monthly check to take care of Grandpa. He came to this country when he was 16 years of age to work in the mines in Colo.  Where the name of Frullo came from, Aunt Kay didn't know.  However, we grew up with the Frullo name so as far as we are concerned we are Frullo's.139
