Coal Camp Christmas. A little of the history about Rockvale, Colorado. A number of the Goglio family went to this school, particularly the small white building on the left. The Goglio family lived just down the street from this school. Rockvale was near the CF&I mines where all the Trabuccos, Frullo’s and Goglio’s worked.

"In the year of the lord one thousand eight hundred seventy nine on the fifth of November a child was presented to the church. Born on the fourth of November at (??? I can't read the time), daughter of Goiettina Pietro of Giacomo native of Alpette and of Seren Piocco Maria of (??? I can't read her father's name) native of Alpette spouse Goiettina living in Alpette where baptism was administered and named Caterina. Being godfather Domenico (?? I can't read the name) and godmother (??? I can't read this name either).
The indication of the birth with request for baptism was made by (??I think this says father but I'm not sure)."

It's signed by Caterina's father & the priest at the end.
