a) Statements in various land deeds and depositions suggest that Sarah was either the daughter of John Yarbrough, b. abt 1632 and a neighbor of William Hurt, Sr., or the daughter of a friend, Henry Webber. Both men are named in depositions and power-of-attorney documents where her name, Sarah Hurt, occurs. IGI shows her as daughter of John Yarbrough, FHL# 1553934 file, batch #5029377-sheet 23
