Notes for John Robert HURT Jr.
He was Manager of Chip Barwick Chevrolet Company in Memphis, until 1955 when he established the Hurt Chevrolet Co. at Malden, Missouri. In 1959, he returned to Memphis and was Manager of the Finance Department of Pryor Oldsmobile Company. He was a member of the Shady Grove Presbyterian Church in Memphis and was active in the Chickasaw Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Inc.
