FUNERAL HELD MONDAY FOR MRS. MARTHA HENDRIX, AGE 71
Mrs. Martha Jane Gordon Hendrix, wife of Andrew J. Hendrix of Chaonia, was born October 23, 1869 and died August 10, 1941, age 71 years, 9 months and 17 days. Funeral services were conducted on Monday by Rev. M. S. Smith go Williamsville and burial was in the Mt. Zion cemetery.
Mrs. Hendrix was the mother of thirteen children, ten of whom are living. She had forty-two grandchildren. In addition to these she is survived by Mr. Hendrix and one brother and sister.
