With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Marie Stephens of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 11, 2022 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by : her parents, Preston Akers and Myrtle Emma Akers (Root); her husband Lawrence; her children, Larry and Patricia; and her siblings, Preston, Edward and Pauline.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Timothy, James, Rachel, Kimberly and Susan; and her great grandchildren, Tabitha and Sarah.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18th 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210).

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 18th 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210).
