Mrs. Edith P. Klenk, 67, of 2128 South Riverside Drive, died this morning at Mercy. Hospital following a short illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the George L. Gay Funeral Home, with the Nev. William Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9a.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.
She was born May27,1909, in Johnson County to Joseph F. and Lizzie Seehorn McCracken. On Jan. 1, 1930, she married Edwin Klenk at lowa City.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Ed of Postville; two daughters, Mrs. James (Betty) Clark of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Dennis (Nancy) Young of San Antonio, Tex.; and nine grandchildren.
