MRS. DORIS AMELIA. DIXON, beloved wife of the late Mr. John Dixon of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on. Wednesday, July 31, 1991 at the age of 77 years.

Born Doris Amelia Johnson on October 10, 1913 in Washington State she immigrated with her family to Wainwright, Alberta, where she grew up and received her education. Moving to Chilliwack in the early 1950's she married John A. Dixon in 1953. She moved with her family to Edmonton in 1956 and to Lethbridge in 1958 where she has resided until her passing.

Left to mourn are two sons, Martin (Darlene) and Grant, both of Lethbridge; two granddaughters, Adrien and Shannon, both of Lethbridge; a sister and brother, Martha Johnson of Edmonton, and Howard Johnson (F]orence) of Wainwright and her special friend, Peter Filka of Lethbridge. She was predeceased by her brother Maurice, her husband John and her parents William and Katherine. Doris was one of the earliest members of the Baha'i Faith in Lethbridge.
