Clark Simpson dies in Chicago
Former music director here dies after three week illness.
Clark Simpson, 48, 215 Clinton avenue, Oak Park, Ill., died Sunday morning before 8 o'clock at Wesley Memorial hospital in Chicago.
Funeral rites will be conducted at 8 o'clock tonight in Oak Park, with burial between 3:30 and 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Graham cemetery, between North Vernon and Dupont.
Mr. Simpson, who had been seriously ill nearly three weeks, was formerly music director of the First Methodist church choir here, and had been director of a Baptist church choir in Oak Park until his health failed.
He is survived by Mrs. Simpson, three children, Rev. Roger Simpson, Gaylord Simpson, at home, Miss Jeanette Simpson, at home; his mother, several brothers and sisters.
