While James K. Love, of Chestnut ridge, Jackson County, was engaged in feeding his hogs, he was attacked by a vicious sow, thrown to the ground and bitten through his right foot. His led is terribly swollen and he is thought to be in danger from blood poisoning.

The case of james k. Love against Vinnie Love, divorce, which was on rail Wednesday and Thursday has been completed and Judge James A. Cox announced that it would take the evidence under advisement until Saturday when a decision will be made.

AGED RESIDENT OF COUNTY DIES IN CHESTNUT RIDGE

Jame K. Love Soccumbs to ComplIcallons—Funeral Services Tuesday Afternoon.

James K. Love, a well known resident of Chestnut Ridge, died at his home Sunday morning at 5 o’clock, following an illness with complications of five weeks duration.He died at the age of 80 years.
Mr. Love was born in Jackson county September 29, 1844, the son of Hiram S. and Eleanor Cox Love. He was a resident of the Chestnut Ridge community for practically his entire life. He was well known throughout that vicinity and as a very enterprising farmer contributed much toward the development of land in that locality. He was also a devout member of the Christian church in Chestnut Ridge for many years.

A daughter, Mrs. Elanor Simpson, and a brother, J. B. Love, both of chestnut ridge, survive.

Funeral services will be conducted from the christian church in chestnut Ridge at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, with the Rev. W. T. Mullins in charge. Burial in the chestnut Ridge cemetery.
