LUBBOCK - Clarence Maynard "C.M." Shearer Sr., 87, died Thursday, March 18, 2004.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Resthaven Funeral Home Abbey Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Mr. Shearer married Mary Lorene Ryan in 1937. He built and managed theaters and managed the Bunavista Drive-In in Borger from 1949 to 1973.

Survivors include his wife; a son, C.M. Shearer of Stow, Ohio; a daughter, Carol Stavlo of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
