Henry Ryan Succumbs Suddenly At Atoka

Last rites were conducted at the Kelley Funeral home of m a city Tuesday afternoon for Henry Ryan. 59-year-old former Eufaula citizen, who died suddenly from a heart attack In Atoka early Monday morning at the home of his son Bert Ryan.

Ryan who had lived in Atoka for the past five years, was born in Eldorado Springs. Mo., on Dec 6, 1880. Mrs. Ryan, his wife, preceded him In death in 1926. For many years Mr. Ryan lived In Eufaua.

The Rev. Raymond Hancock of the Church of Christ officiated at the funeral services and internment took place In the Cheeotah cemetery.

Ryan Is survived by seven children—Pert, Mattie and Jean Ryan of Atoka; Mrs. Jay Matoy, Mrs Clarence Shearer and R B Ryan of Eufaula: Wilburn Ryan of San Antonio, Texas; and a brother — W V. Ryan of KIowa.

Active pallbearers were John Burhus, Bill Fletcher, Lawrence Jones, Buddy Thompson and Lawrence Cole.
