Minnie Lee Perkins was born October 17, 1922 in Eldorado, Jackson, Oklahoma to Homer Grady Higgins and Temmie Katherine Dykes Higgins and passed from this life on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the age of 87.
She married 1st Rhomer Tillman Johnson Hollis, Harmon, Oklahoma on 31 Aug 1940.
She Married 2nd John Paul "Rusty" McCarthty unk date unk place abt 1960.
She married 3rd Elvin Maynard Perkins on 26 May 1963.
Minnie Lee was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elvin Maynard Perkins; daughter, Kimberly McCarthy and sisters, Faye Montgomery, Nina May Lindley and Bonnie Mitchell.
Minnie Lee is survived by daughter, Nikki Swenn of Spearman, TX; son, Kerry Johnson and wife Phyllis of Las Vegas, NV; son Rhomer "Tony Johnson and wife Marianne of Las Vegas, NV; son Stephen "Mike" Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Dana Decker and husband John of Princeton, TX; daughter, Charlene Mullins and husband Gerald of Mustang, OK; son Kenneth Perkins and wife Mary of Lubbock, TX; sisters, Juanita McAnear of Clarendon, TX and Connie Holland of Turkey, TX; 22 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and other relatives and a host of dear and loved friends.
Services to celebrate Minnie Lee's life will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Abundant Life Temple. Rev. Roger McCoy will officiate. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Silo. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening September 14th 2010.
Brown's Funeral Service, Durant is handling the arrangements.
