Agnes Mann, daughter of Robert Mann and Phoebe Vaden, first married Peterson Harrison. After his death, listed as Agness Harrison in the county marriage record, she married Rev. James Hurt in June 1782, Halifax, VA. Her sister Elizabeth Mann married Philemon Hurt, brother of James Hurt. The widow Phoebe Mann married Moza Hurt, father of the Hurt brothers, late in their lives.
