Alfred Lee Stroman, Jr., 90, devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

"Alfie" was born Nov 12, 1912 in Pueblo, CO, and was the only child of Alfred Stroman, Sr., and Margaret Jones. He married Thelma Lucille Therwhanger on Jan 24, 1947. She was the love of his life. She passed away on March 21, 1997 after celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. He proudly served his country in the Army during World War II in the Pacific. He was a member of the LDS Church and was also a Shriner, a Mason and a member of the Elks Club. He loved his dogs, traveling, and being with his family. His passing will leave a large void in our lives and we will miss his quick sense of humor and his loving and caring ways.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Pamela Stroman, Randy (Deon) Stroman, Vicki (Randy) Dangerfield; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, granddaughter, Jessica, and many beloved relatives.

“I am bound to them though I cannot look into their eyes or hear their voices. I honor their history. I cherish their lives.
I will tell their story. I will remember them for I am the result of the very love, struggle, sacrifice and journey of thousands.”
