Notes for John (Spouse 1)
Records show John married 3 times:
1: Nancy Evans (1800-1815)
2: Sarah "Sally" Vaughan (1789-1853)
3: Sallie Coppage (abt 1826) from Kentucky, Birth Records, 1847-1911 for Coppage per daughter Lucinda Yowell b. 1 Oct 1857
****
Note: Sarah Yowell- https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/23278192/sarah-yowell
She should not be a spouse of John Yowell. It doesn't seem that she was married. She is the daughter of Leroy Lee Yowell and Mary "Polly" Milburn. She left all of her possessions in her will to her niece Sarah Elizabeth Dean and to her niece's son Eddie Marshall Phillips. She would not have done that if she had married and had her own child.

“I am bound to them though I cannot look into their eyes or hear their voices. I honor their history. I cherish their lives.
I will tell their story. I will remember them for I am the result of the very love, struggle, sacrifice and journey of thousands.”
