(2) Jun 2002: Ltr from Wanda Thomas, Box 625, Mooreland, Oklahoma 73852-0625 Birth date given as 6 Feb 1770 or May 1763 in Culpeper, Virginia. Death date given as May 1845 in Madison, Indiana. Cause of death: killed in 1st steamboat explosion. Her sources: Gladys Householder, Mildred Fisher, 1850 Marion County, Kentucky Census, Book by Ann Yowell Cook, 1850 Indiana Census. The excerpt from the book by Ann Yowell Cook has the parents of William as John and Mary Yowell. William and Lucy were living in Washington County, Kentucky in 1797 and are listed in the 1810 Census of Washington County, Kentucky.
