JoAnn Milligan, age 82, of Jamestown OH, passed away September 1, 2023, at the home of her long-time companion in Hillsboro OH. She was born April 19, 1941, in Dayton OH, the daughter of the late William Earl and Lillian Ruth (Payne) Hurt. JoAnn was a long-time member of the Jamestown Friends Meeting, where she had played the organ for more than 55 years. She was very faithful to the church and was instrumental in many facets of the Friends Meeting. JoAnn is survived by her long-time companion, Rodney "Eric" Smith of Hillsboro; children, Skott (Jean Ann) Milligan of Jamestown, Lori Tomlin of Lakeland FL, Paul Smith of Point Harbor NC, Rodney Smith, Jr. of Johnson City TN and Jason Smith of Sabina OH; sister, Carolyn Ruth (Ronnie) Troutwine of Greenville OH; brother Terry Glenn "Butch" (Eunice) Hurt of Bradford OH; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many friends and church friends. In addition to her parents, JoAnn is preceded in death by her husband John Robert Milligan in October of 1983; brother William Eugene Hurt; and infant granddaughter Leah Britt
