SKAGGS -- Lydia Bell, 93, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on January 20, 2003 at Glenpool, Oklahoma. She was born October 3, 1909 in Missouri to James and Mary White.
She is survived by three sons; one daughter; one sister; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Skaggs.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2003, at 10 a.m. in Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. There will be a reception at the Floral Haven Family Center following the funeral service. Floral Haven. (Tulsa World)

Obituary for John Skaggs
John Garfield Skaggs was born on November 18, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Roy Skaggs and Lydia White Skaggs. He passed from this life on January 19, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82.
John met the love of his life, Judy Duvall and married her on September 22, 1960 in Stillwell, Oklahoma. Together, they raised three children, Brenda, John and Greg. John was a talented trim carpenter and worked in construction providing for his family. He was a master craftsman and could solve any construction problem that came his way.
When he wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing and dirt track racing and enjoyed helping his sons on the race track. His pride was his family, so spending time with his kids and grandkids was important. He enjoyed watching his kids and especially his grandkids excel in sports and academics.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by many.
John is survived by:

Children: Brenda Scrivner and Gary of Jenks, Oklahoma
John M. Skaggs and Sheryl of Rockwall, Texas
Greg Skaggs and Kimberly of Coweta, Oklahoma
Grandchildren: Kelly Scrivner, Sierra Dugan and Chris, Sydney Skaggs, Carson Skaggs
