Services for Mrs Norene A. Hunt, 49, of 1960 NW 20, are pending at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home. Mrs Hurt died Friday at her home after a three year illness. Born in Fate, TX, she had lived in Oklahoma City since 1939. She belonged to the First Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, Pierre S. Hurt, of the home; her mother, Mrs Mary Agnes Sawyer and a sister, Mrs Fred Halt, both of Jackson, Miss.; and three brothers, H. A. Sawyer, Bronxville, NY; E. D. Sawyer, Lubbock, TX; and C. D. Sawyer, Midland, TX.

Services for PIerre Stine Hurt, 61, of 1315 Westchester Drive, will be at 3 pm Tuesday at Crown Heights Methodist Church with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. He died Sunday in Baptist Memorial Hospital. Smith & Kernke Funeral Home is in charge. Hurt was a native of Madill. He was territory manager for an Oklahoma City carpet firm for several years. He was a Mason and a member of Quail Creek Golf & Country Club. During World War II he was a civilian flight instructor at Cimarron Field west of Yukon. Survivors include his wife, Julia; a daughter, Mrs James A. Dewberry Jr, Dallas; three brothers, James M. and George R., both of Dallas; and Eugene, of Brownsville, TX; and a sister, Mrs George Sessums, Dallas.
