LIFE SKETCH OF MRS. C. D. STOCKDELL
Elizabeth Esther was born to Peter and DrusiIla (Kelley) Briner, near Tampico, Jackson county, Indiana, on November 9, 1886. She united with the Mt. Pleasant Baptist church at an early age.
She was united in marriage to Cyrus D. Stockdell, January 2, 1837. Nine children were born to this union. Three daughters and one son preceded her in death.
In 1912 the family came to Putnam county, Illinois, where she has since resided.
She passed away on February 27, 1933, after severai weeks' illness of heart trouble.
She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband and two daughters and three sons, and 13 grandchildren. Two brothers also survive.
Funeral services were held at Florid Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial was made in Florid cemetery.
