Notes for Sarah TUCK
Sarah Tuck was born about 1813 in Halifax County, Virginia. She married Sanford Glascock. She and her sister Mary Polly were the only children of Robert and Nancy Dewberry Tuck that did not leave Virginia and head south. In 1867 Robert willed his plantation to her. This property is still owned by her descendants. Sarah and Sandy had eleven children. Two sons joined the Confederate army and were killed in battle. She died about 1870.
