Notes for Henry Albin FAPP
Harry Albin Fapp was born August 29, 1901, at Kansas City. He died September 30, 1974, at Windsor Estates Nursing home in Salina.
Mr. Fapp was a retired post office clerk and had been a Salina resident for more than 40 years, moving from Dickinson county. He joined the Salina post office in 1924 and retired 38 years later. He was an usher at First United Methodist Church for several years and was named an honorary member of the church administrative board. He was a member of the National Association for Retired Federal Employees.
Survivors included his widow, Nadine; two sons, Donald James and Ross Larry Fapp; two brothers, William D. and Daniel L. Fapp; three half-brothers, Floyd, Edwin and Wesley Schmidt; two half-sisters, Mrs. Pearl Gish and Mrs. Marie Burgiss, and three grandchildren.

SALINA --- Nadine Ford Fapp, 94, Salina, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, at a Salina hospital.
Mrs. Fapp had taught school in Missouri until 1927, and she later was an underwriter for the Great Plains Insurance Co. in Salina for many years.
She was born March 28, 1906, in El Dorado Springs, Mo., where she lived until she moved to Salina in 1927.
Mrs. Fapp was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she helped arrange the fellowship of friends. She also attended a writing class and had written two novels and many short stories. She sang with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program singing group.
She married Harry A. Fapp, who preceded her in death in 1974.
Survivors include two sons, Ross Fapp, Topeka, and Donald Fapp, Los Osos, Calif.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Geisendorf-Rush Smith Funeral Home in Salina.
Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes or to First United Methodist Church in Salina, sent in care of the funeral home.
