Before me Giacomo Sereni [?], mayor and civil status officer for this municipality, and at the presence of priest Domenico Petrini of the late Domenico, deputy parish priest aged 53, and of Battista Moratto of the living Pietro, municipal messenger age 27, witnesses residing here, appeared Pietro Giavino [?] of the late Giovanni Battista, [unreadable occupation] aged 47, and Pietro Goglio of the living Giacomo, peasant/farmer aged 41, and they declared that at 4 hours a.m. of the current August 1st, in the [...] hamlet of this municipality and in the house of his dwelling, died Giacomo Gojettina, widower of the late Maddalena Goglio, peasant/farmer aged 74, born in Alpette to the late Pietro Gojettina and to the late Antonia [...]dretta. The above said declaration was by me written on the two death registries, and the declarant, and the witnesses, having heard it read out aloud have signed it together with me.”
