Notes for Charlene JONES
Charlene Jones Lloyd, 38, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 6, 2010, having died from injuries sustained in a tragic car accident.

She was born October 1, 1972 in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Charley A. and Sandra Jolene Jones. Charlene was the youngest child of a loving family - both tolerant of and protected by three older brothers. She was raised in Roy, Utah, graduated from Roy High School and attended Weber State University.

Charlene married Kenny Lloyd in 1992. They brought two amazing children into the world- Makenna and Kyler. They divorced in 2010. She was engaged to Cameron Van Alfen and had just begun a wonderful new chapter in her life.

She worked at Praxair as a Customer Service Representative for eight years. She excelled in her job and was appreciated.

Charlene enjoyed crafts, the outdoors, sunflowers, children, holiday decorating, and caring for "Ginger", her precious Yorkie. She loved to spend time playing Skip-Bo with her mom, teaching Kyler to drive, singing with Makenna in the car, and teasing her dad. She was the apple of his eye.

She is survived by her two children, Makenna and Kyler Lloyd; her parents, Charley and Jolene Jones; three brothers, Charley Michael Jones, Michael Scott Roundy and Mark Roundy (Becky); as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

We all loved her dearly and will miss her fun freckles and beautiful contagious smile.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the Shock Trauma staff at Intermountain Medical Center for their professional and loving care.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family will meet with friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Makenna Kyler Lloyd Charitable Account at America First Credit Union. Send condolences to the family at: www.lindquistmortuary.com

“I am bound to them though I cannot look into their eyes or hear their voices. I honor their history. I cherish their lives.
I will tell their story. I will remember them for I am the result of the very love, struggle, sacrifice and journey of thousands.”
