Jennie E. Millet, 88, passed away March 17, 2013, after a relatively short illness. Born Jennie Elizabeth Thomas to Nick and Evanthia Thomas in the small coal-mining town of Superior, Wyo.

Jennie became a successful businesswoman in North Las Vegas in the 1950's and 1960's. She was a founding member of the Forerunners Club, and a member of the choir of St. John's Greek Orthodox Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Spiro; brothers, Mike, George and Harry Thomas; and sisters, Kaye Thomas and Holly Lowey. Jennie is survived by her son, Nick (Sophia) Leonis; grandchildren, Mike (Carol), and George and Tishe Leonis; and great-grandchildren, Steven and Elana Leonis.

Viewing and Trisagion services will be at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively, Thursday March 21, with a funeral services at 10 a.m., Friday March 22, all at St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 El Camino Road. Burial will be thereafter at Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Forerunners Club at St. John's Greek Orthodox Church.
