William M. Adcock died Saturday, February 14, 2004 at Diamond Ridge Health Care Center. He was 93 years old. Born in El Dorado Springs, Missouri to William H. and Mary F. "Marical" Adcock . He was a World War II veteran. He was a retired operator from Dow Chemical after 35 years of employment. A charter member of Ambrose Lions Club in Bay Point, board member of Ambrose Park and Recreation District, board member of East Bay Parks, member of Pittsburg Baptist Church.

Mr. Adcock is survived by his daughter, Darlene Gatons; sons, Bill Adcock and Darrell Adcock ; sister, Louise McKinley; 8 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 66 years, Opal Adcock in March of 1994; two brothers and one sister.
