Betty Lois Davis

Funeral services for Dolores resident Betty Lois Davis will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Primitive Baptist Church in Cortez, CO. Elder Cleveland Bass will officiate. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.

Betty was born December 20, 1934 in Etowah, AR the daughter of James Lelan and Elzie (Ferguson) Russell. She passed away on January 4, 2022 at her residence at the age of 87.

Surviving Betty are her children, Russell Davis (Lois) of Cortez, CO, Darla Cawley (Leon) of Belton, TX, David Davis of Dolores, CO; her sister, Jewell Vail of Lakeside, AR; five grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, Bill Ross Davis; and her son, James R. Davis.

Memorial contributions can be made in Betty's name to Hospice of Montezuma, P.O. Box 740, Cortez, CO 81321
