BERNELL A. "PAT" COBLE

Bernell A. 'Pat" Coble. 90. Raytown, MO, passed away June 6, 2003 at Edgewood Manor Care Center. He was born November 28. 1912, in Washburn. MO, to James R. and Vennia (Harp) Coble. He graduated from Washburn High School in 1930.

Pat was in Co. 1713 of the CCC Corps arid served three years in the 110th Engrs. of the Missouri National Guard. He was a supervisor at the Fairfax, KS. North American Aviation B-25 bomber plant during WW II. He retired in 1975 after 30 years with General Motors.

Pat enjoyed his hobbies of gardening, fishing, wood carving and bragging about his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James Coble and sister, Mildred Horst. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Louise: two daughters. Vicki Benzel and husband, Gerald of Conroe, TX, and Maureen Gray and husband, David of Lee's Summit, MO brother, Kenneth Coble and wife, Mary of Cassville, MO, three grandsons, Barry Maggert, Jeff Maggert and Brandon Gray; one granddaughter, Kristen Gray; and six great-grandchildren He was a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday. June 10, at D.W Newcomer's Sons floral Hills Chapel, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the chapel. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial
contributions to the Cancer Research Center (Arrangements: D.W. Newcomer's Sons. Floral Hills Chapel, 816- 353-1218).
