Notes for Laura Elizabeth ”Betty” (Spouse 1)
I have no direct proof that the Laura Elizabeth "Betty" Moore who married Zadock Tingle in 1861 in Jackson County, Indiana (check www.familysearch.org for the marriage document) is the Elizabeth "Betty" Moore in my tree, daughter of Samuel Moore and Keziah Cox.
However, my Elizabeth Moore, after her parents died around 1840, was raised with her uncle and aunt, Hiram and Eleanor (Cox) Love, and their children, including her cousin, Bicknell Love, in Jackson County, Indiana.
Laura Elizabeth Moore Tingle named her oldest daughter Eleanora and named her youngest son Ernest Bicknell Tingle - after her aunt and her cousin - a clear sign to me that Betty Moore Tingle and my Elizabeth Moore are one in the same.
Also, there was no Elizabeth Moore in Jackson County, Indiana in the 1850 and 1860 census born in about 1838 in Indiana other than my Elizabeth Moore.
