WATSONVILLE, Calif.- William Kenneth Johnson Sr., 74, Watsonville, formerly of Trenton, Mo., died Wednesday, November 10, 1999, at a health-care center in Watsonville.

Born in Trenton on Nov. 8, 1925, Mr. Johnson was an operating engineer and later was self-employed until retiring. From 1942 to 1947, he served in the Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Bertha; and an infant sister.

Surviving: two sons, William C., Council Bluffs, Iowa, and William K. Jr., Garden Grove, Calif.; a daughter, Penny J. Johnson, Boulder Creek, Calif.; two sisters, Margaret Broyers, Willow Springs, Mo.; a brother Paul E., Trenton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Inurnment: at a later date, Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Mo.
The body has been cremated.
Arrangements: Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home, Trenton, Mo.
