Maria Elena DeClair 66, of Queen Creek, AZ, passed away suddenly on March 11, 2009. Maria was born October 19, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Maria moved to the East Valley 26 years ago and was a retired executive for Dillards.

Maria is survived by her husband, Marvin Jones of Queen Creek, her daughter, Lisa Freidhof (Greg) of Queen Creek, son Joe DeClair (Jen) of Glendale, son Tom DeClair (Mary) of Gilbert, stepson Kenneth Jones of St. John, AZ. and 13 grandchildren, Brandon, Alex, Katie, Brett, Zach, Jara, Brian, Jesse, Sammy, Isabella, Angela, Valerie, and Cassie. She is also survived by sister, Kathy Matos (Dave) of Augusta, GA and brother, Pete Provenzano (Debby) of Jeannette, PA and many nieces and nephews.

Maria was preceded in death by her father, Gaspare Provenzano, her mother, Katie Provenzano-Pollack, her sister, Luci Leeman, and grandson, Joshua.

She will be deeply missed by family and friends and remembered for her selfless, caring support. Her kitchen was always open.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 15, and Monday, March 16, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Queen of Heaven Mortuary Chapel, 1562 E Baseline Rd., Mesa. Rosary at 7 pm, Monday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 17, at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 W Galveston, Chandler, AZ.

Arrangements entrusted to Queen of Heaven Mortuary.
