E. L. Isaacs married Miss Fannie Beard on February 17, 1907 in Fannin County, Texas. They had at least four children.

He was a service station operator, 80 years old, divorced, and a resident of Rusk, Texas for the past 43 years. Informant was J. W. Isaacs; burial was January 16, 1965. Wallace Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
