Former Shreveporter, John T. Patton, Dies
Funeral services for John T. Patton, 77, former manager of the Shreveport office of the Western Union Telegraph company, who died at the home of a daughter in Dallas last Friday, were held Saturday, with interment in the Oakland cemetery of Dallas.
Mr. Patton, who was a retired Western Union official, served as manager of the local office for approximately 20 years. He was a brother of Mrs. H. Hawkins of Shreveport.
Other survivors include five sons, Andrew, Jack, C. M., Ed H. and S. M. Patton, and two daughters, Mrs. Clint Moss and Mrs. Pattie Stavely, all of Dallas.
