E. B. Keith Succumbs to Illness of 14 Months
Death Sunday claimed a resident of' Sioux City for 37 years when E. B. Keith, 60 years old, passed away in his home at 612 South Cecilia street, following an illness of nearly 14 months.
Mr. Keith was born in New Brunswick, Can., March 12, 1870, and resided there until 1884 when he came to the United States and settled in Aberdeen, S. D., where he lived until 1892 when he came to Sioux City. He was employed by the Knapp & Spencer wholesale hardware company. Mr. Keith was a member of Mayflower Congregational Church 30 years. He also was a member of the Brotherhood of American Yeomen, I. O. O. F. and W. O. W.
Surviving him are: His widow; a son, Donald; a daughter, Joyce, all of Sioux City; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Huestis, Minneapolis; Mrs. C. J. Wallace, Duluth; Mrs. W. W. Star-rat, and Mrs. M. H. Fockhart, both of Canada; two brothers, F. F. Keith of St. Paul, Minn., and B. M. Keith of Meedham, Mass.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Mayflower Congregational Church, with Rev. Joseph Steele, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery under the direction of W. Harry Christy's Funeral Home,
