Mrs. Wachter was born May 28, 1918, to Gus and Nannie Langeley Davis. She married Frank Wachter at Camp Lejune, NC in 1945.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Rothwell of Childress and Teresa Malskis of New York; a son, Phil Wachter of New York; two sisters, June Price of Clarendon and Dot Grasso of Monroe, CE; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
