Cemetery records has indicated this is a memorial on the stone only. He is not actually buried there. This would be a cenotaph. At this time I do not know where he is buried at.
Obit furnished indicates his place of death was in the Gulf of Mexico, boating accident, while fishing. It does not state which one of the United States or Mexico his departure was. Since the memorial was held in Texas have used that for now. His body was never recovered.
