Harrison Eaton
Harrison W. "Harry" Eaton, 83, of Worden, died at 4:10 p.m. Monday, April 12, 1999, at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton.
He was born Oct. 29, 1915, in Princeton, a son of the late J. King and Anna Mae Hamilton Eaton.
He married Verna Suhre June 5, 1948, in Alhambra. She survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Barbara G. Bougadis of Dallas; TX; a daughter-in-law, Kay Eaton of Dallas; a sister-in-law, Ruth Porter of Pontiac; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kathy Eaton; a son Larry Eaton; five brothers, George, Arthur, Everett and Neil Watson and Gilbert Watson Porter; and six sisters, Mary Watson, Jessie Fuesel, Olive Frederickson, Viola Holacker, Opal Day and Laura Viksjo.
Mr. Eaton was a truck driver for Lumber Distributors in Tucson, AZ.
Visitation was Thursday , April 15, at Williamson Funeral Home in Worden.
Funeral services were Friday, April 16, at the funeral home. The Rev. Gregory Ohrenberg officiated.
Burial was in Quercus Grove Cemetery in rural Edwardsville.
Memorials may be directed to Worden Fire Department or the charity of the donor's choice.
