Kenneth Leroy Moore, 68, passed away on November 20, 2010 in Paris, Texas. He was born July 28, 1942 in Nashoba, Oklahoma to Wesley and Nettie May {Johnson} Moore. Kenneth married Priscilla Ruth Wren October 16, 1961 in Nashoba, Oklahoma.
He worked for the State Government as a heavy equipment operator for 27 years. He was a member of the Nashoba Valley Baptist Church, Nashoba School Board, and the RWD #5 Water Board. Kenneth enjoyed driving school buses for Nashoba and Clayton and driving heavy equipment. He also loved fishing for crappie, hunting, building furniture, looking after his dogs, and spending time with grandbabies.
He is survived by his wife Priscilla of the home; daughters Melinda Moore of Nashoba, Oklahoma; Janey Gann of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren: Lacreshia Weems, Tasha McKaughan, Cassie Hamman, Steven Brown, Felicia Kadlubar, and mariah Gann; six great-grandchildren: Brenden Earls, Logan Randell, Rhianna Weems, Brylie Hamman, Kasen Hamman, Eithan Kadlubat; brothers Robert Moore of Nashoba, Oklahoma; Gene Moore of Clayton, Oklahoma; Jessie Moore of California; Wesley Moore of Oregon; sister Joy Prutezzi of Oregon; half-sister Edna Church of California; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Nettie May Moore; two grandsons Deric and Eric Hatcher; two great-grandsons Mark Anthony Weems and Nicholas Anthony Weems; and eight brothers and sisters: John, Ray, Matthew, Ina, Lucille, Alta, Elizabeth, and Aline.
A funeral service was held on November 23, 2010 at Nashoba Gymnasium. Pastor Charlie Mueller and Pastor Conley Wright Officiated. Interment was at Nolia Cemetery, Nashoba, Oklahoma. Pallbearers were Bucky Wickersham, Stephen Kadlubar, Steven Brown, Darren Moore, Tommy Moore, Drue Hamman, Mark Weems, and Larry Freeman. Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie, Scott, and Stanley Scarberry. Arrangements were under the direction of Mills and offey Funeral Home in Antlers, Oklahoma.
