Rites Held Tuesday For R. B. Johnson

Mr. Robert B. Johnson. 81 son of the late G. B. and Patsy Boyd Johnson, died Saturday, Sept. 7.

He was married to Nannie Monhollen and to this union ten children were born. His wife and one son, Lonnie, preceded him to the grave. Surviving are five sons and four daughters - Oscar, Louis and Clarence Johnson, all of Russell Springs, G. B. Johnson of Indianapolis, Frank Johnson of McDate, Texas, Mrs. Lucy Irvin of of Russell Springs, Mrs. Lela Ragland of Van Nuys, Calif., Mrs. Julia Zimmerman of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Lola Luttrell of Fonthill. There are 41 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Emma Parson of Cincinnati, also survives and there are a number of other relatives.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, September 10, in the chapel of the Rippetoe Funeral Home. The officiating minister was Bro. H. B. Popplewell, and burial was in the Cedar Spring Cemetery.

Rippetoe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.
