Chester Lee Johnson of Jersey Street, Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, April 18, 2010, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky. He was 61 years, 1 month and 5 days of age. He was born on March 13, 1949 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late, Charlie and Edna Wells Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Johnson of Corbin, Kentucky; four children, Kevin Johnson and his daughter Kayla of Corbin, Kentucky; Jason Johnson and his children, Decon, James and Fallon of Corbin, Kentucky, Steven Johnson and his wife Cassie and their son, Landyn of Livingston, Kentucky and Aaron Johnson and his wife Stormy and their son Bailen of Corbin, Kentucky; three brothers, Eugene Johnson of Corbin, Kentucky, Johnnie Johnson and his wife Barbara of Corbin, Kentucky and Doug Johnson and his wife Gail of Melbourne, Florida; one sister, Alice Harp and her husband Rev. Kenneth of Altus, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Josephine Johnson of Williamsburg, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends all mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 6 PM on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Green officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Johnson Cemetery on Meadow Creek in Rockholds, Kentucky.
