F. Joan Merrick, March 19,1926 - March 9, 2014 was born in Nebraska to James M. Farley and Erma Moser. Her family moved to California in the 1940's to settle in Lynwood where at 16 she met her husband to be Ralph L. Merrick. She married him in 1949. She worked at Pacific National Bank from 1945 -1954. She became a loving mom of two girls and their many pets. She loved wild birds, dogs, cats, Native American Art, penny slot machines, crossword puzzles and roses ( outside only!) Mom always had a vegetable garden with lots of tomatoes, beets and zucchini. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, 2 children, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 niece, 4 nephews, good friends and neighbors.Private internment will be conducted at Riverside National Cemetery.
