There appear to have been no surviving children from Manning Bishop’s second marriage.
Louisa's death certificate merely states that she was buried in Spartanburg County. Her obituray says she would be burield "at Boiling Springs." This raises the issue of which church in Boiling Springs? She could have been buried at the Baptist where her son would be buried less than two years later (and his sister in 1926) or at the now extinct Bethel Methodist (later Christ United Methodist Church Cemetery) where at least two of her sisters are buried.
To muddy the waters even further, Louisa's niece and step-grandaughter Bertha Cannon Aycock (1891-1979; FAG Memorial 58372198 )--Bertha's mother was Louisa's step-daughter and her paternal grandmother was her sister--adamantly insisted that Louisa was buried in Spartanburg's Magnolia Cemetery next to her sister Sarah Christina Tuck Mangleburg Wooten (1831–1908; FAG Memorials 143367186 and 144341841 ). Based on the documentry evidence, one might discount Bertha's information as confusion due to the passage of time (over 50 years) and age were it not for the fact that she actually attended both Christina's and Louisa's funerals and burials.
Geography tends to favor Bertha's narrative--especially when one considers the primitive road conditions in Spartanburg County in the early 1900s. The funerals of Louisa and Christina Wooten were both held at Second Presbyterian Church , which is literally three blocks from Magnolia Cemetery--a much easier trek for a grieving family in the midst of winter.
