Notes for Cran William “Bill” BEVANS I
DALHART - Cran "Bill" William Bevans Sr., 74, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lincoln Street Baptist Church with Rusty Hancock, pastor, and Bob McAlister, pastor of First Baptist Church of Channing, officiating. Burial will be in Dalhart Memorial Park Cemetery by Horizon Funeral Home of Dalhart.

Mr. Bevans was born March 9, 1931, to Charlie Z. and Viola C. Elington Bevans in Canadian, Okla. He married Vinita Louise Johnson on Oct. 5, 1956, in Clayton, N.M.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Cran William "Bill" Bevans Jr. of College Station, Weston Bevans of Cripple Creek, Colo., and Jack Bevans of Denver; a daughter, Karen Turner of Dalhart; a sister, Tilda "Sis" Coonce of Dalhart; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Lincoln Street Baptist Church.
