Emma Rose Besso, 97, of Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. A life long resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Mrs. Besso died following a lengthy illness.

She was born on May 4, 1918 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the daughter of the late Frank and Domenica Yori.

Mrs. Besso attended schools in Rock Springs, and was a 1936 graduate of the Rock Springs High School.

She married James Besso in Manila, Utah on January 31, 1940 and he preceded her in death on May 31, 1967.

Mrs. Besso was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Community.

Survivors include two sons Martin J. Besso and wife Barbara and John Besso all of Rock Springs, Wyoming; grandchildren Dawn Lee Besso, Margie Allen and husband Keith, Andrea Besso, Jerry Snyder, Willie Warren and wife Jennifer, and Kelly Pfiefle and husband Ron; nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter and son in law Teresa and Ken Warren.
