Nancy Ryan, 81, of Athens, passed away on January 18, 2021 in Athens.
Nancy Louise Ryan was born March 22, 1939 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of Jack Hollie Ryan and Mabel Louise (Martin) Ryan. She attended the San Angelo Business College and spent a career as an accounting secretary. Nancy enjoyed crafts, reading and was a loving mother, sister and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all she knew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Hughes and two brothers, Jack E. Ryan and David G. Ryan.
Nancy is survived by her children, Jody Hughes and wife Cathy of San Angelo, Janie Hughes of San Angelo; sister, Bonnie Sue Englehart and husband Bob of Athens; five grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
