HARVEY "MIKE" ROBISON
Oklahoma City, OK–HARVEY "MIKE" ROBISON, 85, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1 996, at Hillcrest Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born Oct. 30, 1911 at Gentry, Benton County, Ar., the son of William M. & Mattie Belle (Mitchell) Robison. He and Elma Mari nda Hamilton were married Oct. 6, 1934 at Okemah and she preceded him in death on Oct. 22, 1982. He moved to Okemah in a covered wagon in 1922. Mike was a member of Teamsters Union for 30 years and with OC&E, Pioneer and Lee Way Freight Lines. He was a featu red driver in Lee Way Museum and was presented several awards for his safety record. Retiring in 1966, he became a self-employed carpenter until he moved to OKC in 1987. Survivors include 3 sons, Michael L. Robison & wife Leta, Jerry B. Robison, and Da vid Robison & wife Sherr y, all of OKC; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; seve ral nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Okemah, with the Rev. Gary Bohanon officiating.
