Notes for William BOOTH
Booth - William Booth, who had been in poor health for about a year, died at his home in Vernon township Thursday morning aged sixty-eight years.

He was the son of Alice and Jerry Booth and had spent his entire life in Jackson county. He leaves one son, W. H. Booth and one sister, Eliza Booth.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Henry Pierson, were held at the New Driftwood Friends church Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial in the cemetery near the church.

She is the first of four children born to the couple. Arsula married William Booth on 26 Sep 1878 in Jackson County, Indiana. They had 3 known children: Jane Booth, Bertha M Booth and William H Booth. On 3 March 1894, Arsula and her family left the Methodist Church and are received as members of the New Driftwood Quaker Church in Jackson County, Indiana. On 7 May 1904, Arsula was appointed Elder of the church and served in this capacity for two years.
