IDA BOURN
Ida I. Bourn, 88, of Rosedale, died in a Sutton hospital where she had been confined since Oct. 17 due to a broken hip.
She was born in Braxton County, the daughter of Ballard S. Rogers. She made a profession in early life and was willing and anxious to be called to rest.
Surviving are one son, O. J. Bourn of Rosedale; three daughters, Louise Meadows of Orlando, Fla., Chessie Moore of Rosedale and Marie Reed of Lockney; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Charles R. Bourn, in 1925; and one daughter, Maysel Marks.
Services were held at Rosedale Baptist Church with Rev. J.H. McLaughlin officiating, assisted by Rev. John Alfred. Pallbearers were grandsons and flowerbearers were granddaughters. Burial was in Bourne Family Cemetery, Rosedale.
