Death of B. C. Love

Beaufort C. Love died Saturday morning at Marion, Ind., following a lingering illness. About a year ago he suffered a stroke of paralysis, and had been confined to his bed since that time. A second stroke came Friday morning which resulted in his death. Mr. Love was seventy-one years of age, and about twenty years ago was a resident of this city. He was married to Miss Mary Belle Love, who died in 1896. Three children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Love. They are Miss Mary Love of Indianapolis, and Hiram S. Love of Anderson. One daughter, Miss Laura, has been deceased since 1895. Besides the son and daughter, he is survived by two brothers, J. K. Love and J. B. Love, both of Seymour. Mr. Love was an old soldier, being a member of the Eighth Calvary, Co. K.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at two o'clock at the undertaking establishment of Barnhizer and Vandiver, conducted by Rev. William Mullendore. Burial was made in Greenlawn. Miss Mary Love of Indianapolis, Hiram Love of Anderson, J.B. Love and C.F. Reed of Seymour and Dr. and Mrs. P. J. Watters of Indianapolis, attended the funeral.
